The name is derived from the words "vert" meaning "unripe" or "green" in French and "berry".

DESIGNER PROFILE

Nene Kang spent her adolescence in Japan and the U.K. She is currently based in Seoul.
In 2006 she began to DJ in Japan and currently works as a music producer, while also producing film projects including shorts and art videos.
She began her fashion career after returning to Seoul in 2010 and officially launched Vert Berry at the start of S/S season in 2016.
